Martin Brennan

Martin Brennan, together, with co-founder Stewart Fox, established Diesel Electric Power in 2006. He collaborated with Stewart to found a company that would offer comprehensive, high-quality generator sales and services to clients in even the most remote corners of the globe.

Based in County Meath, Ireland Diesel Electric Power sells new and pre-owned generators to all regions of Ireland, the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa. The company is also dedicated to providing comprehensive generator hire services, maintenance and re-builds, along with load bank testing, site surveys, overhauls and beyond.

In 1978, Martin started his career in the power generation industry having launched his career with a marine and general engineering firm, where he worked at a marine propulsion plant and marine auxiliary plant. His duties also included welding, metal fabrication and working with marine-based power and propulsion systems.

When the recession struck in the mid-1980s, Martin departed from his position with the marine firm. In 1985 he took a position with a newly-established company that specialised in industrial power generation.

Since 1985, Martin has maintained involvement with the industrial power generation sector and his career has seen tremendous growth and evolution alongside the advancing, rapidly-evolving industry.

Martin started out in a position that allowed him an opportunity to manage and oversee the company's servicing and commissioning divisions, which were involved with some of Ireland's leading power generation plant suppliers.

Over the years, Martin advanced his career, moving up to the management level. Prior to the establishment of Diesel Electric Power, he was involved in a wide array of overseas power generator installation, maintenance and overhaul projects in nations from Italy, to Germany, to Turkey and beyond.

Martin comes to Diesel Electric Power with a wide breadth of experience in the industrial power generator industry.
